Christine took up the position of Town Clerk in March 2008, prior to that she was Finance Officer at Lyme Regis Town Council. As Town Clerk her role is very varied running the Council and heads up a team of 8 part time employees.
In her spare time Christine enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren. She has a keen interest in walking, having recently completed the 630 mile South West Coast Path, gardening and reading.
Samantha Pearce
Sam has worked for the Town Council for 19 years and alongside her general reception and administration duties has responsibility for a number of the Council’s projects including the website, the Public Hall Working Party and Community Resilience. In her spare time Sam is kept busy with her two children and her dog Bruce. Sam has a keen interest in paddleboard fitness, yoga, running, walking and is a bit of a weather watcher!

Sharon joined the Town Council team in 2018, her role is to assist and support Christine and Sam with their administrative duties. Sharon has recently relocated to Burton Bradstock and is enjoying familiarising herself with the local area. In her spare time Sharon enjoys keeping fit by walking her dog and attending regular yoga classes
Kath Crabb
Kath has been Caretaker at the Public Hall for 8 years. This is a part-time role which includes reservations and general maintenance to ensure all areas are ready for the hirers.Having lived in Beaminster for many years Kath is a familiar face in the town and as well as the Public Hall you may also come across her in her other part-time roles at Beaminster Pre-School or the Greyhound Inn.
When time permits Kath enjoys socialising, keep-fit, watching sport and visiting her two grown up children in London.

Alex joined our team in spring 2023. Alex is the Town Council’s Head Groundsman and works alongside colleague Matthew Camps.
The Grounds staff are responsible for maintaining Town Council grounds and Alex also works alongside Christine and Sam on other maintenance and development projects.
In his spare time Alex enjoys travelling around in his motorhome and walking along the coast

Matthew is the Town Council’s Groundsman and works alongside Alex. The Grounds staff are responsible for maintaining Council owned areas throughout the town including the Memorial Playing Field and the Cemetery.
In his spare time Matthew is a keen cyclist.

Stephen Amatt

Stephen Amatt
Stephen is the Town Council’s Enforcement Officer and has been with us since 2020. Stephen has 14 years experience in enforcement and his role with us includes enforcement duties relating to dog control, litter and the issuing of fixed penalty notices when applicable. Stephen also works closely with Dorset Council’s Dog Warden.
In his spare time Stephen enjoys to walk especially along the areas coastal footpaths.

Rita Robbins
Rita is the Town Council’s Cleansing Operative and is responsible for keeping the Memorial Playing Field, the Play Area and the Cemetery tidy.
Rita cofounded the first Beaver and Scott colony in the district and loves to walk her dog.
