COUNCIL COMMITTEES

 

Full Council meetings – Meet once a month to cover the main Council Business. Full Council also receive reports from other committees for consideration.

 

Planning Advisory and Highways Committee – Meet once a month to discuss various planning matters and agree advisory recommendations on Planning Applications and discuss Highway/Rights of Way matters in the town.

 

Finance and General Purposes Committee– Meet once a quarter to review budgets and general expenditure and receives reports from other committees for consideration.

 

Christmas Lights Committee – Meet on an ad hoc basis to organise the Town’s Christmas Lights Festival

 

Recreations and Amenities Committee – Meet quarterly to discuss the needs or issues concerning the Council’s open spaces

 

Community Engagement Committee – Meet on an ad hoc basis to discuss The Town Council’s CE Strategy for the town.
