The Town Council works with Dorset Council to provide a range of services for Beaminster residents.

 

Town Council’s direct responsibilities are:

  • Care, maintenance and hiring of The Public Hall
  • Care and maintenance of the Memorial Playing Field and Pease Hill
  • Care and maintenance of Beaminster Cemetery and hold a record of burials
  • Beaminster Allotments – currently leased to the Allotment Association
  • The Square – Car park currently leased to Dorset Council
  • The CB3 Community Bus – Operated on Saturdays between Bridport and
    Crewkerne.
