Chris Turner

Born, bred and schooled in West Dorset, I came back to Beaminster in the mid-80s and have worked in the area since. I have also been involved in several town organisations, Art Society and Drama and initiated the local branch of Playgroup Network.

I was proud to be a Town Councillor from 1987 and to be its Chairman from ’99 – 2001. I believe in recycling and treating our environment with respect and also that we need to encourage more employers into the town to create a sustainable and self-sufficient community
